Faculty

   Rebecca Powers

Ms. Power received her BFA in dance from The Boston Conservatory. She was a company member of Jose Mateo's Ballet Theater for eleven years performing many principle roles. Ms. Power has been a faculty member of Jose Mateo's Young Dancer's Program since 1990 and has also taught ballet at many schools throughout Massachusetts. She received her early training an RI and has studied modern dance at The Alvin Ailey Shool in New York City. Ms. Power joined the faculty of NBTDC in 2000.

 

 

 Tina Cassidy

Tina Cassidy has an MFA from the Boston Conservatory. She trained with the Lake Erie Ballet School. Ms. Cassidy danced professionally with the Boston Dance Company, The Boston Conservatory, Indianapolis Ballet Theatre, Indianapolis Dance Company, the Lake Erie Ballet and Northern Ballet Theatre. Ms. Cassidy joined the faculty of NBTDC in 1997.

 

   

 Eric Lindemer

Eric Lindemer is from Tennessee, Eric received his early training from Anna-Marie and David Holmes. He studied on scholarship at The School of American Ballet in New York City, where he received the Joseph Duell Memorial Scholarship and the Mae L. Wein Award. At age 19 he joined American Ballet Theatre at the invitation of Mikhail Baryshnikov, and went on to dance principal roles with Boston Ballet and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens.Choreographers he has worked with Agnes DeMille, Twyla Tharp, Mark Morris and Bill T. Jones. Eric has been performing as a guest artist with Northern Ballet Theatre for several seasons. His teaching experience has included Boston Ballet School, Citydance, Boston University, Boston Conservatory and Ascension Yoga, where he has taught ballet,modern dance, and yoga.

 

   

   Lisa Sanchez


Ms. Sanchez has been teaching and choreographing in the Massachusetts and NH area since 1989. She is a graduate of Dance Teacher's Club of Boston, where she was the recipient of the New Image Scholarship and the Elsa Kemp Award for teaching aptitude.Her choreography has won many awards for originality in Jazz and Tap.She has attended Alvin Ailey and has studied with Germaine Goodson,Jeff Shade and Richard Pierlon.She has long enjoyed her association with The Jeannette Neil Dance Studio, heavily influenced by Billy McLaughlin and Jimmy Viera. Performing for Ace Entertainment with such artists as Harry Connick Jr,The B52's and JT of Kool and the Gang. Industrials for Puma and Jordan's Furniture. Her teaching experience includes Walnut Hill Summer Program,Dance Collective Intergenerational Outreach Program, Boston Youth Moves,NBT and several other local studios.
